Abstract:This paper introduces a high precision portable ultra-low frequency signal generator. Within the accuracy of 2.5/10000, the signal generator which is powered by battery or external power supply can simulate pulse frequency signals between 0.001 ~ 2 KHZ. And it can choose duty ratios of 25%, 50% or 75% according to the actual application. This design which has advantages of high precision, compact structure and low cost , based on MSP430 microcontroller, frequency division technology and logic gate, contains the display and keyboard. The LCD which displays with a black plant can suitable for the night. The design principles are introduced, and the hardware and software design, test and application is discussed. The Test and analysis results show that it can comply with the design index and has very strong practicability.
