Abstract:To study the performance evaluation of heart rate parameters of wearable smart bracelets, for the low accuracy of test results and lack of evaluation methods for the existing wearable smart bracelets. Based on the photo plethysmography, we take eight brands including Xiaomi 2, Xiaomi 3, Lexin, PAPA2, Huawei B5, Samsung, GARMIN, and Apple2 and test the heart rates by using the PPG heart rate simulator and the moving volunteers wearing both the heart rate belt and the smart bracelets. Finally, we provide an example of uncertainty assessment for the heart rate measurement of wearable smart bracelets. The results show that, the performance of the heart rate accuracy of the wearable smart bracelets can be evaluated to a certain extent, and the traceability is achievable, by comparing the static and the dynamic heart rates using the bracelets with the corresponding reference values.
