Abstract:This paper analyzed the impact trend and degree of natural gas flow metering results caused by metering process conditions(differential pressure, pressure, temperature), geometric dimension parameters(the throat diameter of standard orifice plate, the diameter of measuring tube, the finish size of throttling element, the mounting dimension ) of standard orifice set and natural gas physical property parameters(density, compressibility factor) based on the practical formula of natural gas standard reference volume flow, discussed some practical problems during design and use of the standard orifice plate metering system for natural gas flow measurement.
