Abstract:Temperature is one of the most important factors affecting the product quality of each process in iron and steel enterprises. Many processes can only use non-contact thermometer to measure their temperature. Infrared temperature measurement is more and more widely used in steel enterprises, and has become the key equipment for on-line temperature measurement in steel enterprises. However, in practical work, infrared temperature measurement is also affected by many factors, and may still be inaccurate, affecting product quality control. Through independent experiments, this paper studies the most important emissivity parameters that affect the accuracy of infrared temperature measurement and the installation distance in use. First, it is comprehensively determined that the best emissivity of several steels is about 0.96 (thermometer model c316), so that the measurement accuracy of several steel grades in the experiment can reach 0.25%+1k of the measured value; Secondly, the distance experiment shows that even if the test distance conforms to the distance coefficient (d:s), different distance measurement errors may be different; Finally, through experiments, it is found that two-color and monochrome thermometers are affected by the field of view, but the influence of two-color is smaller. The experimental device and method can provide emissivity test for different steel grades or other materials of the three steels, and by taking out the sample, the working thermometer can be compared.
