Abstract:The station is an important infrastructure to protect the country's energy production operations and storage, and its perimeter security has gradually attracted a high attention in recent years. Through a comprehensive analysis of business requirements and station environment, describes the complexity and diversity of the station environment, as well as the requirements of invasion of precise positioning, object recognition and tracking, low false business needs. Analyzed advantages and disadvantages of 3 types of common perimeter security equipment which are infrared radiation, vibrating fiber and video surveillance. Paper analysis the application advantages of station perimeter security system which with the IOT’s technology of data communication and intelligent identification, multi-sensor linkage and intrusion detection. Station perimeter security system based on the IOT technology has been tested at the station of Xi’an branch of Shaanxi Provincial Natural Gas Co.,Ltd.. It achieved a good application results and has the promotion value.
